February 3: Hike Cancelation and then Plan B - Lithia Park
February 10: Hike in Ashland Depart from Rite Aid at 10:00 A.M.
Due to the winter road conditions, we'll stay in Ashland, and do a hike/walk from the Rite Aid parking lot to Lithia Park and the Plaza for lunch. We'll walk over to the Plaza/Park using sidewalks and bike paths and take public transit back to our cars. (a dollar for bus fare). Weather forecast
February 17: Upper Rogue - Casey State Park through and past MacGregor Park to the William Jess Dam Depart from Rite Aid at 9:00 A.M
TH: 29 miles up Highway 62 from I-5 to right into Casey State Park. Description: An upstream hike along the Upper Rogue River beginning at Casey State Park and going through MacGregor Park to the viewpoint of William Jess Dam power station. Do lunch during the return hike. 4-5 miles, can add a mile below Casey State Park on the way back. Weather forecast. RT mileages: 90 miles.
February 24: Lower Table Rock
TH: I-5 north to exit 33, Central Point. Right onto East Pine Street for 0.4 miles to a left onto Hamrick Road for 0.8 miles which bends right into West Vilas Road for 0.2 miles. Left onto Table Rock Road for 7 miles to a left onto Wheeler Road for 1/2 mile to the TH. EDT: 35 minutes. Description: We will explore the Lower Table Rock trail. View Spring flowers and surroundings. Distance: 5 to 7 miles, elevation gain: 870 feet. Weather Forecast. RT mileage: 50 miles
